The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 81,520.00 USD - 106,995.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. The Sr. Associate, Sales Account Management for the Pet/Alt Channels is a key contributor to our long-term strategy and is responsible for profitable business growth of multiple existing and new customers across the US. This role is responsible for establishing and building customer activities across new and emerging US retail channels, including but not limited to creating initial merchant relationships, sell in of new items during inaugural reviews, new item set up, supply chain connectivity and troubleshooting, plus early forecasting, promotion planning, trade budget, internal SAP setup, etc. This team member will have the opportunity to grow through a variety of experiences and a general management approach to the business and will have a significant amount of freedom to demonstrate leadership, high-impact decision making, strategic planning and customer relationship management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sr. Associate Alt Channels will:

  • Build, prioritize and manage multiple objectives, including top line sales, distribution, trade spend, promotional effectiveness, merchandising, and customer engagement

  • Build rapid, strong relationships based on credibility and trust across multiple layers of retailer merchandising & ops teams

  • Actively pursue new retailer relationships and business across high-growth, emerging, and established retail channels based on LSB consumer and category growth initiatives.

  • Proactive in uncovering or discovering possible growth retailers/channels

  • Managing all prospective new customers through LSB process with high degree of urgency

  • Shepherd the process with HQ teams, leading task management, owning follow ups, and driving for timely results

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years' Sales experience to a major retailer OR within Customer Marketing/Planning for an established consumer brand/CPG company

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Experience with account management and/or in setting up new accounts.

  • Experience applying negotiating and selling techniques.

  • Growth mindset: always looking for new opportunities to pursue and comfortable navigating unknown territories.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to excel in remote sales environment.

  • Stamina, character, sense of humor, proactive approach, and work ethic appropriate for a fast-paced, team-oriented, growth company

  • Excellent communication/collaboration

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines.

  • Curious and analytical mindset; ability to independently assess data, integrate into selling stories and leverage it to grow our business

JOB REQUIEMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday

  • This is a home office-based role, the candidate must be located near a major airport within the US

  • Travel up to 10%

  • Relocation is not available for this opportunity
