City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift Rotating Overview: Sentara BelleHarbour Advanced Imaging Center, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a CAT Scan Technologist to join our Team! Overview In this role you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards; perform Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines; administer CT Contrast per protocol. Position Available CAT Scan Technologist II Flexi Status Rotating Education Trade School Graduate Certification/Licensure ARRT(R), ARRT(T), CNMT, NMTCB at time of hire are acceptable Must obtained ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire. The center is home to a 3T MRI, CT, PET CT, full digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry, PVL (vascular imaging services), non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing, and digital X-ray. Physicians and patients also benefit from the expertise of our sub-specialized radiologists who ensure accurate results from the high quality images. Our sub-specialties include women's imaging, musculoskeletal (MSK), body and neuroradiology.
