Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer.

As a Configuration Manager on our team, you'll have the chance to contribute to the Navy's mission by providing a critical support function for the development, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of a portfolio of undersea surveillance systems deployed worldwide. Your customer will trust you to ensure proper Configuration Management (CM) rigor as you coordinate the analysis, tracking, and documentation of engineering modifications to legacy systems and new system designs ensuring supportability throughout the life cycle.

On our team, you'll deepen your skillset in CM and systems engineering to support a broad spectrum of CM tasking for clients, engaging with multiple performers and government organizations to aid in the delivery and sustainment of a complex system of systems. Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of next-generation sensor, processing, and C4I systems to ensure maritime dominance. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain configuration changes and ensure the production and delivery of hardware and software systems are completed on schedule.
  • Work with project management and development teams to maintain proper change processes and software baseline schemes.

Here's what you need:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience using CM tools for complex projects, including CMPro
  • Experience analyzing complex information to inform CM system modifications and processes
  • Experience collaborating with complex teams to efficiently extract and identify engineering changes
  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes and milestones
  • Ability to develop SOPs and training to facilitate CM processes
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings

Bonus points if you have:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional experience in configuration management
  • Experience developing system and subsystem baseline artifacts for complex projects
  • Possession of excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems or Engineering field
  • CM Certification
  • ASEP Certification

Security Clearance:

  • DOD SECRET

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Work Schedule:

  • M-F, Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $155,000 - $190,200. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
