The Role:

Are you interested in a career in the SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY? Exciting things are happening at Edwards Vacuum where we manufacture a wide variety of industrial vacuum pumps for the semiconductor industry!

As our Shipper Receiver, you will facilitate the movement of all materials through the factory; receiving materials in from supplier, put away activities in the warehouse, picking orders for assembly and shipping of finished product to customers. You will be utilizing your computer skills to perform transactions in SAP. Please note that at this time we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Processing receipt and shipment of repair orders including review and preparation of related reports. This will include both physical movement of material as well as completion of various transactions within our SAP (ERP) system.
• Conducting cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, facilitating the movement of material to appropriate positions within the repair center, kitting of materials as required for repair work orders, and coordinating the replenishment of materials according to target stocking levels.
• Must be able to coordinate picks with the various roles of the organization: shipping, manufacturing, purchasing, and planning.
• Must be able to understand packing slips, purchase orders, and goods receipt processing with the supply chain management organization.
• Responsible for domestic and International shipments according legal regulations
  
  

It goes without saying that you'll:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer skills relative to e-mail, ERP (SAP is a plus), and use of other manufacturing related databases and applications.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, shipping / receiving, and/or manufacturing related environment.
• Ability to follow processes, learn by example, and ask questions when things are not understood.
• Comfortable and constructive working in an environment where volume has peaks and lulls.
• Write, read and send emails in English
• Lift up to 50 lbs. (PPE/Training) in a safety driven culture
