Description The Collateral Documents Associate II ensures lien placement on more complex consumer loans, releases liens and performs title maintenance, all in compliance with title and lien regulations for each State. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties: Ensure timely lien placement through ongoing communication with members, third party vendors, other lending institutions, and DMV offices Ensure satisfactory completion of all documents required to perfect vehicle titles Perform title maintenance including more complex state changes, name changes, and lien releases Process stock loan collateral releases Answer member and employee inquiries (phone and email) promptly and accurately and handles escalation of member issues Keep a current working knowledge of title and lien regulations for all States Essential Skills: Minimum Education: High School Diploma Minimum 3 years' experience in consumer loan operations and/or exposure to lending processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction Proven skills and commitment in meeting or exceeding member expectations and requirements Ability to work autonomously, to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality Familiarity with State Department of Motor Vehicles & Marine Board requirements Working knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures including SCRA, Truth in Lending, Reg B, FCRA and MLA preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Target Compensation in Rocklin, CA:$25.50 to $28.85 hourly + annual bonus Benefits options include: Traditional medical, dental, and vision coverage 401K matching up to 5% per pay period Accrue up to 17 days of Paid Time Off your first year of employment 11 paid federal holidays Special employee pricing on lending products such as mortgage, auto, and personal loans (eligibility for special employee pricing is subject to standard account requirements and underwriting criteria) What makes First Tech different?
