Job Summary (Primary function) The Sr. Director, Sales Operations will lead the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of Sales Operations for Incyte's Dermatology portfolio. This senior leader will be responsible for enabling field force effectiveness, driving operational excellence, and ensuring scalable processes that support both current business needs and future growth. Acting as a trusted advisor to sales and cross-functional leadership, the Sr. Director will bring a strategic lens to incentive compensation, sales analytics, territory alignment, reporting, and field enablement. This role will also build and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities) * Set Strategic Direction: Define the long-term strategy and priorities for Sales Operations to drive commercial growth and prepare for new therapeutic areas. * Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales Operations team, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and succession readiness. * Sales Operations Oversight: Oversee team execution of core functions including incentive compensation, field alignments, call planning, analytics, reporting, and CRM management. * Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Sales Leadership, Product Strategy, Market Insights, Compliance, and BIS to deliver integrated solutions that enhance field performance. * Field Effectiveness Enablement: Guide the team in delivering tools, training, and resources that enhance representative and manager effectiveness. * Performance Measurement: Ensure the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that provide leadership with actionable insights. * Change & Growth Readiness: Anticipate business needs and ensure the organization is prepared with scalable systems, capabilities, and talent for future opportunities. Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency) * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred. * Extensive years in Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, or related functions within pharma/biotech. * Proven experience leading a Sales Operations team with demonstrated success in talent development, organizational leadership, and change management. * Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking, sales force automation, incentive compensation operations, promotion response concepts, and sales force alignments. * Proficient in all aspects of analyzing healthcare sales data and field force activities. * Excellent verbal, written and stakeholder management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with sales management and cross-functional teams. * Strong project management skills. * Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
