You will assess and treat patients, lead educational lectures, crisis intervention, treatment and discharge planning and more. In this role you will run a daytime IOP mental health group and in between that program will also help with program intakes and level of care assessments. Position: Behavioral Health Therapist
Shift: Part-Time, Days; 20 hours a week. No weekends or holidays!

Experience:
1. Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse treatment standards.
2. Emergency psychiatric and/or acute psychiatric experience preferred.

Education:
1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:
Will help obtain certification or licensure as an addictions counselor or licensed mental health professional if not already obtained.
