General Laborer

Position Details

• Job Type:Full-time, year-round
• Pay:$21.00 - $23.00/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + occasional Saturdays

This Job Is For You If You Can:

• Lift and carry 50-60 lbs repeatedlythroughout the day
• Shovel, dig, and haulmaterials in all weather conditions
• Climb up and down steep landfill slopeswith heavy tools and sandbags
• Work in extreme heat or coldwithout slowing down
• Stay on your feet for8-10 hours a day
• Handledirty, dusty, and odorous environmentswith a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding labor tasks across the landfill and transfer station
• Operate hand tools and light equipment (shovels, post hammers, picks, etc.)
• Direct traffic safely and assist customers on-site
• Support environmental systems forstormwater, landfill gas, and leachate control
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards

What You'll Need

• 1+ year of experience in outdoor, physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong self-motivation and a commitment to safety
• This is a safety-sensitive position and requires the ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to assist at other sites if needed
