Digital Product Owner - Planning

Daikin Applied is seeking a forward-thinking Digital Product Owner - Planning to lead the digital enablement and optimization of planning processes across the enterprise. This role sits within our Digital Supply Chain Organization and will own the roadmap and delivery for planning tools such as Oracle ERP (Cloud or EBS) and LeanDNA, driving alignment between digital strategy and operational excellence. This role will partner closely with stakeholders across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Procurement to deliver innovative solutions that enhance forecast accuracy, material availability, and executional agility.Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Serve as the product owner for planning systems, with a focus on Oracle ERP planning modules (e.g., ASCP, MRP, S&OP) and integrated tools such as LeanDNA
• Own and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for planning solutions in alignment with Daikin's supply chain transformation goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, define pain points, and prioritize digital initiatives
• Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria and manage a well-groomed product backlog
• Work closely with solution architects, Oracle developers, LeanDNA teams, and data engineers to translate business needs into effective system solutions
• Champion automation and digital best practices that drive visibility, predictability, and improved planning cycle performance
• Lead UAT efforts, monitor solution performance, and continuously optimize system configurations based on business feedback
• Provide training and change management support to end-users, ensuring successful adoption of planning tools
• Stay current on emerging supply chain technologies, Oracle releases, and LeanDNA capabilities to proactively identify opportunities for improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ Years of experience in supply chain planning or ERP-related roles
• 2+ Years of Product Owner or systems lead role
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP planning modules and their application in manufacturing environments
• Experience with demand/supply planning analytics and KIP reporting
• Background in discrete manufacturing or engineered-to-order product environments
• Familiarity with Oracle PLanning or LeanDNA deployment models
• Oracle Certification

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $148,000 + 10% annual bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
