STV is seeking Sr. Mold Assessor to join our amazing team in New York.

This role emphasizes mold assessment, mold abatement monitoring, and abatement report writing, document review with the ability to develop both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a solid technical foundation allowing them to work independently. The successful candidate will have 10 years of mold assessment experience. Relevant experience includes:

* Mold assessment and abatement oversight.
* Report preparation.
* In addition, the candidate should possess a strong technical inclination, be self-motivated to take ownership of challenging problems, and possess excellent written & verbal communications skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform mold assessments.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify source of mold or leak.
  • Train property management staff on mold work order evaluation/closure, moisture meter use, anemometer use and mold awareness.
  • Review and manage data from the mold assessment team.
  • Interact with engineers, architects, property managers, and mold abatement contractors.
  • Write mold assessment reports.
  • Review mold O&M plans and other documents.

Qualifications:

  • NYSDOL Mold Assessor certification required.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant mold assessments, design, monitoring project management experience, training
  • Knowledge of NYC regulations, NYS regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant study.
  • Demonstrates excellence and efficiency in project management, writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgement, and knowledge of regulations.
  • Strong quality assurance/quality control skills to perform technical, style, and consistency reviews.
  • Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure of deadlines is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytics and organizational capabilities.
  • New York State driver's license.
  • Strong QA/QC skills for technical reviews
  • Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • New York City Housing Authority, New York City and New York State agency experience is a plus.
  • NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector and Designer.
  • NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator.
  • USEPA Lead Inspector or Risk Assessor

Compensation Range:

$74,112.66 - $98,816.88
