Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Supervisor - Women and Children Health Study - Mineola.

In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing moderate to advanced range of coordination of research activities pertaining to the impact of environmental exposures on child health. The Program Supervisor will support supervision of Research Data Associates (RDAs), recruitment, enrollment, research data collection and study coordination activities.
Ensures the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with GCP, HIPAA, and required obligations to patient/subject, PI, Research Team and sponsor (NIH). Interfaces directly with patients/subjects and Principal Investigator in support of clinical trials. Establishes liaisons with relevant parties at the Medical Center that may include Program Managers, Medical Technicians, and Clinical Information Systems and regulatory services. The Program Supervisor supports a growing program of work assisting mainly with day-to-day research activities and data collection.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise RDA and volunteers to conduct outreach and recruitment for the ADRC.
  • Responsible for implementation of study protocols, which include participant recruitment and follow-up, and in-person and remote data collection (in-person study visits, questionnaire surveys, and bio specimens).
  • Train Research Data Associates and Interns in recruitment, field data collection, bio specimen processing, and various other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in coordination of weekly staff schedules (via MyTime) and supervise study research staff.
  • Prepare study progress reports and present information on a weekly basis to the PI and research team.
  • Screens potential patients/subjects for eligibility to the study and schedules the initial visits.
  • Liaison for study activities with clinical medical staff and administration.
  • Attend staff meetings and report on clinic activities/progress at study site.
  • Responsible for overall management of site study activities, which include but are not limited to: coordinating with medical staff to facilitate study activities, maintenance of equipment used for study data collection and lab activities.
  • Manage the submission of necessary documents required by the NYU Institutional Review Board (IRB). Secures accurate signatures and forward documents and/or forms to appropriate destination. Ensures the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices and HIPAA.
  • Responsible for facilitating communication between study administration and research staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical Research Certification (ACRP or SOCRA) is preferred. Prior experience working with Research Protocols, recruitment and follow-up of research participants, and data collection. Knowledge/experience with statistical analysis and statistical software (SPSS, STATA) preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Phlebotomy skill preferred. Qualified candidates must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $90,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
