IT BUSINESS EXPERT PPG Industries, Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a work-at-home IT Business Expert position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for coordinating and managing system improvements for PPG's ERP shipping management software system to better support business goals and needs. Specific duties include: (i) utilizing knowledge of ERP system processes, policies, and procedures to facilitate complex problem solving and decision making across business environments; (ii) analyzing, solving, and implementing shipping and warehouse management systems in Automotive, Industrial, Packaging, and Refinishing businesses; and (iii) working with broad-based IT systems and applying ERP tools and techniques to effect business change. This is a fully remote position and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States. Must have a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position. Experience must include: (i) five (5) years implementing proposed business solutions in Oracle Applications Enterprise Business Suite in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM); (ii) five (5) years developing code and customizations using Oracle PL/SQL, JAVA, and UNIX shell scripting; (iii) three (3) years architecting data flow by building real time orchestrations/integrations across business applications; (iv) three (3) years configuring proposed business solutions in Oracle e-Business Suite modules including Inventory, Order Management, Shipping, and Pricing; and (v) two (2) years designing and developing solutions in Oracle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) involving Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA).
