$2,130.46 to $2,343.51 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Central Area/Rockledge/Timothy J. Mills Fire Rescue Center. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may include occasional extended hours and additional days as needed. Performs skilled professional Fire data and geospatial analysis to support the needs of Fire Rescue Division. Employees in this class will work independently to identify, access, extract, and verify data on complex special projects. Work includes using data-driven insights to make recommendations to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource deployment, and contribute to the development of life safety strategies, and creating and/or adjusting emergency response boundaries.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, Urban/Regional Planning, Information Management, or a closely related field PLUS three (3) years of professional experience and/or training in data analysis and ArcGIS (web application, dashboard, ArcGIS Hub), Survey123, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) systems. Five (5) years of experience working with, or within, fire departments or emergency services of metropolitan size is preferred. Experience with ESRI ArcMap Pro, GIS concepts, SQL queries, or similar is preferred. Experience with fire rescue-based programs such as ESO Firehouse, Telestaff, and/or Target Solutions, Mobile Eyes, Accela, and National Fire Incident Reporting System/National Emergency Response Incident System is preferred. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of the employment. Must have successfully completed, prior to employment, all of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 courses and maintain said courses in a current status during the term of employment. Must be able to successfully pass a Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check administered by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office (BCSO). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee may be required to perform emergency support duties within Fire Rescue.
