Mechanic

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Mechanic (Track Press Operator).

Position Summary:

Perform pin and bushing turns, assembling of new tracks, link and shoe swaps, disassembly and assembly of other undercarriage components.
Primary Responsibilities:

* Ability to operate a hydraulic torque turn gun and hydraulic track press.
* Ability to do heavy lifting
* Ability to operate a forklift
* Load / unload trucks
* Clean CTS track
* Work in wash room if required
* Assist with repairs on other undercarriage components
* Ability to work overtime as required

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

As a Track Press Operator, you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions. Physical requirements include:

* Overall stamina
* Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
* Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching
* Listening and speaking
* Must have good motor coordination skills
* Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
* Verbal intelligence and numerical intelligence
* The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold, injury exposures, and atmospheric exposures
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Desired Technical Skills/Experience:

Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
