Markon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Intelligence Customer.

Situations requiring a strong analytical approach to problem solving.
• Perform senior-level research, analytical and technical tasks in support of business operations under limited supervision.
• Serve as a member of a team that supports the Finance and Budget Office that assists the government with their financial duties and their daily operational activities.
• Create various daily detailed financial reports, data extracts, and provide quality control checks.
• Provide customer with budget analysis and completion of various budget deliverables.
• Monitor and coordinate program resource allocations.
• Assist and support customer with automating of financial and requirements data in financial database and conduct system operations.
• Support customer representatives at meetings through attendance and by providing financial management operations and budget analysis information as requested.
• Ensure cohesive agency-wide budget program development through collaboration across customer and other agencies.
• Assist with resource management oversight.

• Active TS/SCI FSP required
• 8+ years of experience and familiarity with customer organization in a financial / budget / RM role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and proactively as well as apply creativity in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience in resolving complex financial problems and providing recommendations to customer.
• Experience constructing and maintaining back-up documentation on programmatic, organizational, or resource topics.
• Proven ability to interact with customers, senior leaders and program managers in matrixed environment.
• Experience preparing briefing materials.
• Prior experience as a government Finance Officer is not required, but would be viewed favorably.
