Job Title: US-Worcester-Assembler I-

What You'll Do

Perform operations required to assemble and pack various products including operation of equipment in accordance with customer orders. Maintain necessary records for all operations. Checks completed parts to ensure compliance to Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.

In this Function You Will

Be responsible for assembling low-volume, high-complexity products.

Use hand and power tools to complete builds including but not limited to drills, circular saws, screwdrivers, and wrenches.

Operate packaging/wrapping equipment and palletize complete units.

Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.

Adheres to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Assist team in achieving plant and department goals by flexing when needed.

Support on-the-job training and continuous improvement.

Fosters an environment that promotes Client's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.

General knowledge of Client Quality Management System (EQMS).

Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.

Preferred Skills

High school diploma or GED-equivalent.

At least 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

At least 3 months of experience using hand and power tools

Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, blueprints, and work orders.

Ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

Ability to use a crane once fully trained to lift items

Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion including but not limited to lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position

Ability to wear required PPE for the role including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and protective arm and hand coverings.

Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.

Knowledge of basic shop math, assembly, and configuration.

Basic computer knowledge.

Ability to use measuring equipment, hand and power tools or saw.
