Enbridge Gas Utah is hiring a Facilities Technician II who will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building systems in all offices. The Technician will also be responsible for completing preventive, routine, and emergency work orders for building maintenance.

Here's what you will do:

• Conduct regular building inspections.

• Perform all preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance work orders, to ensure optimum building and equipment operation.

• Plan, organize, order and install materials for building renovations and maintenance orders.

• Assist in periodic testing, inspection, and maintenance to life safety systems.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute office renovations, interdepartmental relocations, and projects as assigned.

• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Who you are:

You have:

• 5 - 7 years directly related experience with a High School diploma or GED.

• In-depth and expert knowledge of plumbing and building construction.

• In-depth and expert knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems in commercial buildings.

• Familiarity with personal computers and the ability to use SAP, Microsoft products, and computer-operated maintenance equipment.

• Effective written and verbal communications.

• Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze building and maintenance conditions and develop solutions or recommendations.

You can:

• Perform carpentry, flooring, electrical, and plumbing repair and replacement activities.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, technical drawings, and manuals.

You are:

• Able to maintain, troubleshoot and install equipment from blueprints and writing diagrams, circuit diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.

• Proficient in the use of a variety of diagnostic equipment.

Preferred Assets:

• Journeyman Electrician License

• Niagara (Tridium) Framework Tech Certification

• EPA Refrigeration Certification - Level 1, 2 and 3

• Journeyman Refrigeration Certification

Working Conditions:

• Outdoors between 51-75%.

• Office Work Environment between 26-50%.

• (4) 10-hour day shifts.

• Candidate will work with heights up to 40 ft.

• On call requirement approximately every 4-6 weeks.

Dominion Legacy Pay Grade - N38

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 70 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
