Summary

Summary:
The Pre-Analytic Quality Specialist role is responsible for developing, monitoring and making recommendations to improve overall Pre-Analytic quality. This role creates and maintains system Pre-Analytic best practice training materials, competencies, procedures and signs offs across the NorDx system.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Associate's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Certification as a Phlebotomist and/or Medical Laboratory Assistant required (ASCP, ASPT, AMT, NPA, NCC, NHA). Valid Driver's license required.
  3. Experience: Two years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Assistant required. Project management experience or process improvement experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills.
