The Program Management Office and Best Practices Lead (PMO and Best Practices Lead)

Location : Washington, DC - 5x a week onsite

The Program Management Office and Best Practices Lead (PMO and Best Practices Lead) will drive process improvement within the Occupancy Planning team, establishing an improved overall process flow, accountability, and reporting to drive efficiency and agility. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the OP team, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the client's strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders' expectations, and drive the successful delivery of the program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and driving the implementation of standardized occupancy planning materials for OP Projects and ongoing OP/MAC work:

    • Establish quality standards for OP deliverables. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

    • Implement quality assurance processes to minimize defects and improve overall project performance.

    • Maintain strong linkage to corporate PMO structures and industry best practices

  • Driving OPM performance and reporting:

    • Lead account OP tracking, reporting, and review processes for all occupancy planning components, ensuring timely reporting, analysis, and issue resolution.

    • Collaborate with OP and CAFM managers to identify and address resource constraints or conflicts.

  • Serve as the SME and leader for the delivery of OP services

You will be successful on the job if you have skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, cell calculations), and understand floorplans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to consolidate data and floor plans into PowerPoint Presentations for clients will be highly valuable for the job.

Desired education, skills and experience -

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, architecture, design, project or construction management or related field with a minimum of 7 - 10 years of work experience in a corporate environment is preferred

  • Expert level of understanding and knowledge of occupancy planning methods and practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAFM/IWMS database applications is required

Estimated total compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
