As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care Team you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Licensed Therapist (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in Rochester MI, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population (Adolescents, Children, Families). You will provide patients with behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations
  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and/or couples
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods


Flexible schedules to include full time, part time, per diem, days, evenings, weekends. Potential for some remote work from home / teletherapy as business needs dictate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  • Clear, active and unrestricted license (LMSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Michigan
