Work Schedule:

100% day shift. You will work 4, 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 am - 5:30 pm with rotating call, weekends, and holidays. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Come work with patients with acute and chronic illnesses, specifically Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients in the inpatient setting.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:



  • Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessment of patients with acute health problems undergoing treatment including allogeneic and autologous stem cell transplants, CAR T-cell and bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies.
  • Perform procedures required for disease evaluation and treatment such as: Punch skin biopsy, Bone marrow biopsies with/without conscious sedation, Lumbar puncture, and Intrathecal chemotherapy administration.

Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
If Nurse Practitioner*:



  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Adult.


If Physician Assistant*:



  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active PA board certification.


All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
