Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Machine Operator to support our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Coating, Wave Soldering, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. This is a great opportunity to begin your manufacturing career with on-the-job training and advancement potential.

Key Responsibilities



  • Set up, operate, and tear down SMT, AOI, Wave, or Coating equipment on the production line.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, production checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure production output meets established quality and efficiency standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Inspect and verify parts and assemblies to ensure proper component placement and soldering.
  • Identify and report quality issues to Automation Technicians, Team Leads, or Supervisors.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned machinery.
  • Record production data and complete daily logs accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in various tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational policies.



Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of SMT, AOI, Wave soldering, or coating equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and follow company procedures consistently.



Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods with minimal breaks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with small electronic components.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks without interrupting the assembly line process.
