Print Shop Production Manager - Pivotal Health Solutions

Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking a Print Shop Production Manager to join our team in Watertown, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions of the printing department and coordinating print shop workflow. Ensure correct procedures for order fulfillment are followed and deadlines are met. Oversee training and updating for the printing team and updating equipment software. Ensure proper machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and updating is completed.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the print production process through quoting, design and approval, scheduling, prepress, printing, and invoicing
• Participate in market and user research to identify new product features, trends and opportunities that will drive Pivotal Health Solutions business growth
• Prioritize workflow and schedules for printing staff
• Perform training of staff and new hires
• Maintain updates to work procedures and equipment
• Perform regular equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and updating
• Manage print shop supplies and inventory, re-ordering as needed
• Handle customer service and sales of outside print orders
• Oversee website, social media content, and other advertising
• Oversee product development
• Oversee and/or perform installation projects as needed
• Assist with print shop production (prepress, printing/etching, finishing) as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 Years of graphic design and/or prepress experience (preferred but not required)
• Experience operating RIP software and large format printing equipment (preferred but not required)
• Computer skills on Mac and PC platforms
• A strong design portfolio of illustrations or other graphic design work
• Proficient with design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
• Knowledge of color correction, sizing/scaling, type setting/correction, and image
• enhancement/placement
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
