Technical Support Engineer - Heavy Equipment Systems

Job Description:

Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver who's just as comfortable with a laptop as you are with a wrench? We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer to serve as a key resource between our customers, dealers, and engineering teams.

In this role, you'll:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on heavy equipment.
  • Use diagnostic software, technical documentation, and remote tools to support field technicians and service teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve product reliability and serviceability.
  • Document solutions and contribute to knowledge bases and training materials.

What you bring:

  • Hands-on experience with construction, mining, or industrial equipment-ideally in service, maintenance, or technical support.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic circuits, electrical schematics, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficiency with computers, diagnostic tools, and technical documentation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred background:

  • Field service technician, equipment mechanic, technical trainer, or support specialist in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Familiarity with OEM support environments, dealer networks, and ERP or service management systems.
