Position Summary University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment. The Assistant Director of Development Marketing & Communications at UDAR establishes and drives NYU's fundraising and stewardship marketing and digital communications efforts, including crafting compelling narratives, building digital communications and event registration pages, and updating websites to drive philanthropic support. Create and implement targeted communication that promotes engagement and philanthropy among various stakeholders, including alumni, donors, parents, and the broader University community. Collaborate with units within UDAR and across the University, schools, and administrative units on language usage, digital communications, donor stories, and more. Partner with Development Communications leadership on efforts that showcase NYU's commitment to philanthropy, inclusivity, and academic excellence. Develop, implement, and iterate systems related to email marketing and content creation for donor management. Oversee the maintenance of the textual and visual language of NYU and UDAR with colleagues across the unit. Manage Intranet and web giving pages with up-to-date content and resources. UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Qualifications Required Education: Adept at learning new platforms and systems People and project management Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $95,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
