Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Manager to build, lead, and scale Paid Media Strategy & Activation within our newly formed Integrated Marketing team. The Integrated Marketing team plays a central role in delivering a modern, brand-led marketing strategy aimed at raising the profile of the Firm and supporting its growth ambitions. Under the leadership of a new Chief Marketing Officer, the wider Marketing & BD function at White & Case values team members who bring a broad range of experience and expertise, both from within and outside the legal industry. The team's collective objectives are to support the Firm's business goals, promote its global brand, and create a cohesive and compelling narrative that resonates with clients, prospects, and employees alike.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact paid media strategy that supports brand awareness, client engagement, and business growth across key markets. This is a pivotal opportunity to create a performance-driven media ecosystem from the ground up at one of the world's most respected law firms.


Duties and Accountabilities1


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop a firmwide paid media strategy rooted in relevant audience segments and aligned with global business objectives, brand positioning, and practice/industry priorities
  • Channel Management: Oversee planning, execution, and optimization across all paid media channels, including LinkedIn, Google Ads, programmatic display, paid social and native advertising
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Select, negotiate with, and manage external media agencies, media companies and platform partners to maximize performance and ROI
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content, digital, analytics, and business development teams to ensure cohesive messaging and measurable outcomes
  • Measurement & Reporting: Define KPIs and establish performance dashboards to track media efficiency, attribution, and impact on pipeline and brand health
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, the evolving media landscape, and regulatory changes to keep our paid media program cutting-edge and compliant
  • Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team as the paid media program scales over time



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; MA, JD, or MBA a plus
  • At least six (6) years of experience in digital and paid media, preferably within a professional service or B2B environment; agency-side experience or experience working with global teams is a plus
  • Fluency in institutional audiences of importance, ranging from clients, recruits, media and other stakeholders
  • Strong grasp of media planning, performance analytics, audience targeting, and A/B testing
  • Experience in ad platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, DSPs, etc.) and analytics tools (GA4, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience growing and leading an advanced team of media professionals that support multiple campaigns/initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing agency relationships
  • High attention to detail and deadline oriented


Location & Reporting


  • This role is based in our New York office.
  • This role reports to the Director, Integrated Marketing.
