The Senior Key Accounts Manager (Sr. KAM) will play a pivotal role in driving growth by maximizing our market share and revenue within strategic customer accounts. You will own the end-to-end customer relationship, leveraging Murata's renownedVoice-of-Customerphilosophy to understand and anticipate customer needs, build lasting partnerships and identify new business opportunities. What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
Account Strategy & Execution
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive account strategies and plans aligned with Murata's business objectives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams-including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Quality-to ensure seamless execution of account activities.
- Drive sales growth through direct channels, including product promotion and customer engagement.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and business terms to secure stable revenue growth and maximize market share.
- Generate accurate sales forecasts, and present insights and updates to senior management.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of customer contact, deeply understanding their technical requirements and business goals.
- Lead initiatives related to inventory management, contract negotiations, and account receivables.
- Support regular factory audits and engage in business continuity planning (BCP) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) activities.
- Foster long-term, trust-based relationships that position Murata as a preferred partner in innovation.
Team Leadership & Development
- Collaborate with and help mentor our stakeholders to continually develop a high-performing team.
- Evaluate and support the performance of related sales representatives to ensure alignment with account goals.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
Collaboration & Market Insight
- Partner with Marketing teams to contribute to market and product roadmap development.
- Leverage data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource utilization.

What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing in an electronics-related or other technical industry.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse, global environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in strategic account management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical mindset.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- MBA or advanced degree in business or related discipline.
- Experience in manufacturing sales and marketing, particularly in electronic components.
- Project management experience with a track record of delivering results.
- Proficiency in Japanese (reading and speaking) is a plus.
- Background in electrical engineering, especially RF technology, is highly desirable.
- Advanced data management and analytical capabilities.

Some domestic and international travel. Minimum Salary: $95,043 Maximum Salary: $147,316 We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
