Die Room Technician - 3rd Shift

A Die Room Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting equipment to cut, shape, or crease materials such as paper, cardboard, etc. for packaging production. Key duties include preparing the die-cutting equipment, troubleshooting issues on the production floor, inspecting finished products for quality, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet production schedules. This role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of machine operations and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

• Performing off-press and on-press make readies
• Set-up and operation of die cutting presses
• Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job
• Maintaining product conformance to specifications
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Quality conscious individual
• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work 3^rd shift (10pm - 6am Sunday - Thursday) with some overtime/weekend work
• Knowledge of automated, die cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems preferred, but not required
