Position Overview

The Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis Partner will support several FP&A projects, initiatives, and activities at Exact Sciences. This position will work closely with business leaders to develop the annual plans, forecasts, business unit reporting, and ad hoc business analysis that help drive insights and action across the organization.

We are hiring two Lead, FP&A Partners; one supporting Corporate Functions, and one supporting the Science Office.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Help lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles for financial forecasting and reporting, including analyses and management reporting.

* Provide strategic and financial support to business functions on operating expense budgets and forecasts, including budget versus actual variance analysis.

* Streamline our planning processes, reporting standards, and KPI's.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement while maintaining a broader organizational perspective.

* Drive efficiencies and integrate best practices to all financial planning and analysis processes.

* Ensure expenses are appropriately reconciled for during month-end close.

* Create new, evaluate existing, and develop more efficient reports.

* Build and present ad hoc financial modeling and reporting.

* Work effectively as an active and contributing member of the FP&A team.

* Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal, professional, & time management skills.

* Ability to work and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.

* Ability to work with the executive team in a senior financial role.

* Demonstrate a natural curiosity and desire to learn that will motivate more efficient business procedures.

* Ability and means to travel between Exact Sciences locations.

* Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

* 3-6 years of experience in a finance, financial planning, or other highly analytical role.

* Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.

* Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and building complete financial models.

* Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

* Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary Range:

$129,000.00 - $208,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
