1st Shift

Under direct supervision of the Clinic Manager, provide direct patient care and comprehensive coordination of care for patients and their families/caregivers, to eliminate barriers to timely care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with clinical research office, increase patient and provider satisfaction, maintain point of contact with providers and serve as the first point of contact for patients and families. The Nurse Navigator has a strong knowledge base in the care of breast care patients and its related processes.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

• Associate's degree in Nursing, or higher.
• Current and Active Kentucky RN or LPN License required.
• Must maintain an active BCLS and ACLS card through the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of breast imaging.
• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities preferred
