KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Tax Ignition practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare analyses of existing tax data for purposes of process re-design and technology implementation
  • Perform conversion of accounting data from existing systems to new systems, including reconciliations of data between prior and successor systems
  • Implement improved processes for federal, state, and international tax reporting and/or tax compliance
  • Employ one or more of the ONESOURCE suite of tax products specifically ONESOURCE Income Tax; execute custom solutions that leverage ONCESOURCE?s Excel Add-In, batch Import, and tax return import/data connection functionality
  • Develop and maintain project plans and other project management functions, including liaising with client project teams and developing, motivating, and training staff-level team members
  • Build and manage client relationships, deliverables, and deadlines

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent, combined experience in corporate tax and tax technology gained in a well-regarded audit, tax, or advisory services firm, corporation, preparing or reviewing consolidated federal and state income returns in ONESOURCE Income Tax
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed CPA, J.D., LL.M, CISA (Certified Info Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics), CORPTAX (CORPTAX Certified Professional), TCERTIMP (Thomson Certified Implementer), ACA (Chartered Accountant) with Lean Six Sigma (White Belt acceptable), SIX SGMA (Six Sigma Certification), Project Management Professional (PMP), advanced degrees: MBA, PhD, MS in Computer Science; please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment
  • Specialization with ONESOURCE Income Tax required; specialization in ONESOURCE State Apportionment preferred; ONESOURCE State Apportionment knowledge a plus; experience in state allocation and apportionment planning and modeling utilizing ONESOURCE State Apportionment; experience in US international tax calculations and information reporting utilizing ONESOURCE Income Tax or other technology
  • Background in data acquisition or extraction from enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft; experience managing and manipulating data using Alteryx, Power Query, MS Excel Modeling and VBA, including structuring data for transfer and load to recipient systems, tax process design, and documentation; experience with leveraging ONCESOURCE's Excel Add-In, batch Import, and tax return import/data connection functionality
  • Experience in implementing the ONESOURCE Income Tax, ONESOURCE State Apportionment and other ONESOURCE suite of products; demonstrated application of analytical skills to perform calculations and articulate issues of average complexity; strong written and verbal skills with the ability to work well both autonomously and collaboratively
