About the Role:

The Quantum System Specialist at S&K Aerospace, LLC plays a pivotal role in the integration and optimization of quantum computing systems within our enterprise resource planning (ERP) framework. This position is responsible for ensuring that our quantum systems are effectively aligned with business processes to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making capabilities. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for quantum technology applications that can drive innovation and competitive advantage. Additionally, the role involves continuous monitoring and evaluation of system performance, making necessary adjustments to meet evolving business needs. Ultimately, the Quantum System Specialist will contribute to the strategic vision of the company by leveraging cutting-edge technology to support our mission in the aerospace industry.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, or other logistics field required. Work experience may substitute for the education requirement. Each 2 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of college.
  • Minimum of six (6) years' experience working in the Logistics or Supply Chain field, four of which must have been in a role requiring the use of Quantum.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and understanding of quantum computing principles.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and retain a valid security clearance and U.S. passport
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience working on contracts or projects with or for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), USAF/AFSAC, or Foreign Air Force.
  • Familiarity with programming languages used in quantum computing.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and assess current ERP systems to identify integration points for quantum computing technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement quantum solutions that enhance operational workflows.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to quantum applications within the ERP framework.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of quantum systems and their impact on business processes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in quantum technology and recommend best practices for implementation.

The required skills in analytical thinking and problem-solving are essential for evaluating complex ERP systems and identifying how quantum technologies can be integrated effectively. Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with various teams and providing clear guidance on quantum applications.
