Function:

Maintenance Job Summary:This is a safety-sensitive position responsible for providing technical and maintenance supervision support to Instrument and Electrical (I&E) teams. The Maintenance Supervisor (I&E) oversees daily maintenance work and long-term projects, ensuring they are completed correctly, safely, and efficiently. You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent. Job Description:

You Will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure the safe execution of routine and turnaround I&E maintenance work.
  • Supervise the execution of maintenance for planned and unplanned plant outages.
  • Ensure high-quality work by I&E technicians and oversee their training in maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Train, coach, and develop employees for optimal performance
  • Develop and adhere to maintenance budgets.
  • Prioritize maintenance activities and maintain relationships with diverse "customers."
  • Manage the preventative maintenance system to ensure mechanical availability and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure work repairs are documented for compliance and audits.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and outside suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain and update the Preventative I&E Maintenance program.
  • Respond to plant operations to troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and DCS Control Systems.
  • Monitor PM completion efficiency and backlog, recommending actions to maintain compliance.
  • Communicate changes in maintenance procedures and operating procedures due to equipment modifications.
  • Participate in "on call" rotation and support site EHS activities.

You Have:

  • 5 years of experience working in a chemical plant or refinery specializing in instrumentation
  • Expertise in electrical engineering or proficient in chemical engineering
  • Previous supervision experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of petrochemical plant operations and ability to read technical electrical drawings
  • Problem-solving skills and preventive maintenance practices for electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Strong knowledge of temperature, pressure, flow, and level instruments.
  • Knowledge of medium-voltage equipment.
