Hours- 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am -5pm

Pay rate- $45 per hour

Requirements

Job Description:

Reporting to the JHHS Directors of Financial Reporting and Accounting, this position holds primary responsibility for the financial reporting, financial analysis, account reconciliations, and journal entries for various JHHS Affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly GAAP financial reporting packages.
  • Present monthly actual vs. budget analysis to affiliate senior management.
  • Stay current on all technical GAAP accounting literature and document relevant GAAP pronouncements
  • Coordinate with staff accountants to ensure all journal entries are accurately recorded and that monthly closing activities are completed on time.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial reporting fundamentals and the complexities of preparing GAAP financial statements, including areas such as consolidations, intercompany transactions, purchase accounting, and other technical topics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience,working in a general accounting department or public accounting
