As an Experienced Form Concrete Carpenter with Findorff, you are skilled in building and assembling a variety of Findorff's forming systems for concrete structures, including foundations, walls, floors, and other cast-in-place concrete elements.

Skills and Qualifications:



  • Experience as a form concrete carpenter in various construction projects.
  • Experience with concrete formwork systems such as: Peri, Jahn, Symons, and Aluma.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Capability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols and regulations on construction site.
  • Demonstrates reliability and dependability by consistently showing up on time, meeting deadlines, and following through on commitments.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Accurately build and set up complex concrete forms using various materials like plywood, lumber, and specialty formwork systems, including aligning, bracing, and securing forms to precise specifications.
  • Precisely measure, mark, and cut lumber to create formwork components with attention to detail.
  • Assemble formwork components using various tools and techniques.
  • Coordinate with iron workers to accurately position reinforcing steel (rebar) within the concrete forms.
  • Assist with the concrete pouring process, ensuring proper placement and consolidation of concrete within the forms.
  • Inspect formwork for accuracy and stability before concrete pours, identifying and correcting any potential issues.
  • Carefully remove completed forms after concrete curing, clean up the work area, and maintain site safety.
  • May mentor and train less experienced concrete carpenters on proper techniques and safety procedures.
