ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

Operating from the Paducah site this individual will assume a myriad of roles and responsibilities. Reporting to the Safeguards & Security (S&S) Manager the individual will (1) review site contractor S&S deliverables, program assessments, and assists DOE with coordinating S&S activities; (2) develop draft response communications to site contractors and stakeholders; (3) conduct S&S Assessments in all topical areas as required; (4) assist the Senior NMCA Specialist with assessing site responses back to contractors; (5) investigate and handle IOSC's as necessary; (6) assist with reviewing of contractor billing and financial submissions to PPPO; (7) maintain POC relationship with all aspects of the S&S program onsite; (8) assists Personnel security and badging coordination with the sites, (9) Survey support (i.e., being an assessor for the other sites' annual surveys), (10) consistent communication with site S&S POC's; (11) and other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a minimum of five years of DOE related Security Programs experience or ten years combined working experience in Safeguards and Security programs.
  • Experience with contractor program oversight and contract execution and related tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel.

    Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in S&S issues in a D&D environment
  • Classification experience/awareness
  • Demonstrated proficiency to perform DOE Safeguards and Security tasks and/or responsibilities related to Program Planning and Management, e.g., Planning and Procedures; Physical Protection, Information Security, Personnel Security; Protective Force, Foreign Visits and Assignments and Nuclear Materials Control and Accountability.
  • Experience with performing DOE Assessments, Survey's, Corrective Action Plans and Survey & Comprehensive Self-Assessment Report development.

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
