We have an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong interest in Hospital Medicine. This is a 1.0 FTE position working at Gundersen Tri County in Whitehall, WI. Gundersen Tri-County is one of six critical access hospitals within the Gundersen Health System network. This clinician will be responsible for the medical care of our hospitalized patients at Gundersen Tri County Hospital and Clinics. Gundersen Tri County is a 24-bed critical access hospital and a Level IV Trauma center. Responsibilities will include admission H&P, daily evaluation, diagnostic and treatment decisions, discharge planning and documentation, and working with the interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and social workers. Physician support will be provided through telemedicine-based oversight from the hospitalist physicians of Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. Practice highlights:
