Clearance Required: DOE active Q-Clearance preferred; however qualified candidates w/ ability to obtain a Q-Clearance are also being considered. Position Summary: Omega Technical Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Asset Suites Subject Matter Expert (SME)for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to provide in-depth technical and strategic support to maximize the utilization, efficiency, and integration of the Asset Suites platform across the Laboratory. This role is critical in supporting asset management, work planning and control, maintenance management, and related operational workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Laboratory's recognized expert in the Asset Suites Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
- Provide guidance and technical support to users across LANL to enhance adoption, configuration, and effective use of Asset Suites.
- Analyze current usage patterns, identify gaps or underutilized features, and develop strategies to optimize platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Operations, Maintenance, IT, Engineering, and Program Management, to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
- Lead or contribute to system enhancement projects, module implementations, and integration efforts with other enterprise systems.
- Deliver training, workshops, and documentation to empower users and promote best practices.
- Maintain close liaison with the software vendor and internal IT teams for issue resolution, version upgrades, and roadmap alignment.
- Monitor KPIs and system health metrics to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required:
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Asset Suites or similar enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in system configuration, workflow optimization, and data analytics related to asset management.
- Experience working in regulated environments (DOE, NNSA, or similar government/industrial settings).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
Preferred:
- Experience at a DOE national laboratory or a similar highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of LANL's infrastructure, systems, and organizational structure.
- Familiarity with other enterprise systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP, Primavera).
- Project management experience or certification (PMP or similar).
- Understanding of nuclear safety, maintenance management, and compliance systems.
