The Manager of Patient Financial Services is accountable for the development and execution of financial counseling and support services within the department of Care Coordination and the supervision of the financial counseling staff assigned to inpatient and ambulatory settings across the Main Line Health system. Additionally, the Manager serves as the organizational expert in patient financial counseling and directly supports highly complex accounts in collaboration with Social Workers/Care Coordinators/Case Managers, Utilization Management professionals, members of a patient's care team and health system leaders including the Directors of Finance.

    Position: Manager, Patient Financial Services
    Shift: day shift 40 hours per week

    Experience:
    1. Minimum 5 years financial counseling experience in a healthcare setting required.
    2. Excellent understanding of third party reimbursement methodologies for payers including pre-certification and COB regulations required.
    3. Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT/ICD10 and revenue codes is desired.
    4. Experience with automated patient accounting systems preferred; Epic Resolute is desired

    Education:
    Hight school diploma/GED required. Bachelors degree preferred.

    Licensures/Certifications:
    Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)/American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM), or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)/Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred
