Pharmacy Technician Annapolis-Columbia MD Pay From: $25 per hour MUST: Experienced Pharmacy Technician Must hold an Active Maryland State Pharmacy Technician Certification Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Recent admixture experience including preparing chemotherapy IV bags Compounding experience Ability to do detailed compounding calculations Must be able to work in a high-paced environment. Experience maintaining and ordering inventory Strong Computer-EMR DUTIES: The duties of the Admixture Pharmacy Technician include but are not limited to the following: Prepare IV bags including chemotherapy solutions Handle detailed calculations Maintain and order inventory of the medication and other laboratory supplies. Enter data into the computer system. Check and verify prescriptions and bring any discrepancies to the attention of the pharmacist Handle compounding calculations Verify accuracy of logs Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
