Resumen

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the timely collection of domestic receivables. This role will optimize the receivables process by improving cash flow and reducing overdue accounts as well as reviewing other AR processes for improvements and efficiencies.



Responsabilidades

    Team Management: Oversee a team of 10-14 collectors, assign station/tasks, set goals, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth functioning of the accounts receivable department. Conduct bi-weekly one on one meetings to review each collector's portfolio of accounts. This includes providing support, guidance and to discuss barriers to payment. Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations. Provide training opportunities for the AR Team.
  • Collections Management/Customer Onboarding: Develop and implement a proactive and systematic approach to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices. This may involve contacting customers via phone or email to resolve payment issues as well as setting up payment plans. Ensure customer credits do not exceed 90 days. Maintain AR aging at 8% < 60 days and 5% < 90 days. Oversee the customer onboarding process.
  • Problem Resolution and Support: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address any issues related to age of accounts and any issues. Serve as a point of escalation for the collections team.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present bi-weekly and adhoc aging reports for Station Managers, Regional Directors, Upper Management, etc.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze current accounts receivable processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices to streamline collection processes. Responsible for software review and optimization
  • Other Responsibilities - Moderate book of accounts when necessary.


Calificaciones

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Business or Accounting or equivalent Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 3+ years Experience in collections Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with respectfully communicating with internal and external parties (High proficiency)
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, maintaining professionalism and adhering to company policies, prior to sending written correspondence, ensuring accuracy in spelling, grammar, and formatting (High proficiency)
  • Ability to work with top leadership in conveying AR information and decisions (High proficiency)
