Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the execution of mission-critical system implementation projects for government clients. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in technical project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing the deployment of COTS and GOTS hybrid systems in complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee and manage the full project lifecycle of system implementation initiatives, from planning through deployment and post-implementation support.



  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including system administrators, engineers, and client stakeholders.



  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met in alignment with government client expectations.



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, requirements, and status updates.



  • Facilitate on-site implementation efforts and ensure readiness for deployment across Windows and Linux platforms.



  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to support integration of data storage systems and overall system performance.



  • Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.



  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and implementation plans.



  • Support project quality assurance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during and after system deployment.




Qualifications




  • 5-7 years of experience in technical project management, system implementation, or IT integration.



  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables in fast-paced environments.



  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating environments.



  • Experience working directly with government clients and navigating secure, on-site implementations.



  • Familiarity with COTS/GOTS systems and hybrid IT infrastructures.



  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.



  • Ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple technical domains (e.g., networking, storage, systems).




Preferred Qualifications




  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL.



  • Background in DoD or Federal IT environments.



  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Linux+ are a plus.
