We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the execution of mission-critical system implementation projects for government clients. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in technical project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing the deployment of COTS and GOTS hybrid systems in complex IT environments. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the full project lifecycle of system implementation initiatives, from planning through deployment and post-implementation support.
Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including system administrators, engineers, and client stakeholders.
Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met in alignment with government client expectations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals, requirements, and status updates.
Facilitate on-site implementation efforts and ensure readiness for deployment across Windows and Linux platforms.
Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to support integration of data storage systems and overall system performance.
Identify and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and implementation plans.
Support project quality assurance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during and after system deployment.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in technical project management, system implementation, or IT integration.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical deliverables in fast-paced environments.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating environments.
Experience working directly with government clients and navigating secure, on-site implementations.
Familiarity with COTS/GOTS systems and hybrid IT infrastructures.
Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple technical domains (e.g., networking, storage, systems).
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL.
Background in DoD or Federal IT environments.
Technical certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Linux+ are a plus.
