Logistics Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #71278 Pay Range: $50-62 AN HOUR 6+ MONTH CONTRACT We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the development and implementation of reliability, logistics, maintainability engineering and logistics solutions forF35 Training Systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the technical adequacy and reliability of our systems, as well as the availability of spare parts and support equipment. Key Responsibilities: * Review and analyze logistics support requirements to recommend optimal supply support solutions * Develop and establish maintenance tasks and schedules * Conduct maintenance task analysis for various training simulators * Review and validate technical procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance engineering and logistics support solutions * Contribute to proposal efforts to support business growth and development * Participate in system evaluations to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for mitigation and correction, including ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and identifying potential risks to personnel, equipment, and the environment. * Develop and maintain a replenishment parts model to predict future repair part, spares, and support equipment spares requirements * Establish and monitor schedules for the delivery of spares to ensure compliance with contractual obligations * Conduct weekly monitoring to ensure the availability of spares and repair parts, and take corrective action as needed to prevent stockouts or delays Requirements: * Strong technical knowledge of maintenance engineering and logistics support principles * Deep understanding of MIL STD 1388, MIL STD 1390, MIL HDBK 217, or other similar Logistics Support Analysis industry standards * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders * Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Experience with logistics support and spare parts management is desirable Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
