About Your team The O'Reilly Media's Cloud Operations Engineering team is made up of a diverse set of engineers tasked with managing the network infrastructure, developer tooling, and automation processes that allow our developers to focus on implementing business logic without worrying about how or where their code runs. We're a highly collaborative and supportive team that focuses on ensuring each member of the team is exposed to as much of our stack as possible. We believe in "raising the water level" so that each member of the team is given an opportunity to grow and to help others grow. Salary Range: $110,000 - $155,000 The Cloud Operations Engineer position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that include writing and maintaining our infrastructure automation code, monitoring our platform Kubernetes clusters, databases, and more for anomalies or errors, ensuring the security of our cloud resources. We are also responsible for creating tooling that eases our developers interaction with Cloud APIs and other aspects of our stack. Your day-to-day workload will vary but you can expect that some of the following tasks will be common occurrences:
