Job Description Summary Under general supervision, oversees all throwing events under guidelines of the ACC and NCAA.Job Description Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of one year of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: * Ability to lead and guide Division I student-athletes in area of specialty. * Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes. * Knowledge of athletic recruitment methods and techniques. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. * Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. * Ability to foster a cooperative environment. * Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. * Valid driver license with good driving record; must be insurable.
