Geotab is seeking a Senior Software Developer who will create web-based applications in JavaScript, C# and SQL to create fast and responsive user interfaces. This position develops tools for analysis, such as iPython scripts to make sense of production data. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you! What you'll do: As a Senior Software Developer your key area of responsibility will be listening and contributing to design discussions and making detailed notes and documenting requirements and technical design, writing scalable, high quality and secure software in a variety of programming languages and environments, such as C#, JavaScript, SQL, ensuring the functionality of implementation schedules. You will need to work closely with our support staff and resellersfrom a technical perspective. This may be in the form of on-call or ad-hoc questions relating to how certain features work or verifying the behaviour by reviewing code. To be successful in this role you will be able to understand the performance impact of designs, threading, good UI design, and scalability. In addition, the successful candidate will haveStrong Project Management and analytical skills with the ability identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through to completion.
