Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, business-savvy Senior Manager to lead high-impact initiatives in our Alternative Energy Group. This role drives innovative infrastructure and service solutions, prioritizing clients' low-carbon initiatives while serving broader energy markets. Our group specializes in pipeline transportation, storage (above and below ground), and coastal terminals (storage tanks, docks, vessel loading) for ammonia, methanol, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and synthetic fuels. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, exceptional commercial acumen - proven through robust business plans, sound commercial agreements, and strong client relationships - with a creative, open-minded approach to address challenges optimistically, enhancing project value and business outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute infrastructure projects (e.g., pipelines, storage, terminals for ammonia, methanol, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, synthetic fuels) aligned with client and strategic goals.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate business opportunities to expand offerings across low-carbon and conventional energy markets.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, from service contracts to complex joint ventures and EPC agreements.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, regulatory teams, and other business units to ensure project feasibility, compliance, and strategic alignment, especially at multi-business sites.
  • Deliver compelling proposals to leadership, backed by robust economic and strategic rationale.
  • Build partnerships with clients, technology providers, utilities, and government agencies to drive project success.
  • Monitor market trends and policy, recommending strategic pivots to optimize growth.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
