POSITION

The Advisory Specialist is an expert in separately managed accounts and is passionate about working with Financial Advisors to improve client portfolios and enhance Allspring's tax-managed platform sales across the wealth management space.

This role requires strong relationship management skills, connecting home office leadership with field implementation. The Advisory Specialist collaborates closely with regional management, national sales, investment teams, and internal partners to co-develop and implement strategies that align Allspring's solutions with customer objectives. Success in this role necessitates an approach that prioritizes teamwork and a strong ability to integrate seamlessly with cross-functional partners to deliver cohesive, customer-centric outcomes.

The Advisory Specialist works in-market, alongside the Regional Director to grow Allspring's SMA platform by articulating our competitive advantages with the goal of integrating them into client portfolios. This is accomplished by engaging with senior decision-makers to identify and implement strategies that will enhance investment outcomes.

Ultimately, this role establishes high standards for sales and investment excellence-boosting Allspring's brand, promoting internal collaboration, and enhancing client value through a cohesive approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Work with regional leadership, Investment Specialists, and Client PMs to implement Allspring's strategies effectively.
  • Identify execution strategies that will elevate the Allspring brand and grow market share.
  • Cultivate relationships with client firms and expand Allspring's access with local leadership.
  • Promote Allspring's complete solution set to build leverage for our sales teams through referral activity.
  • Work together with Allspring distribution partners to improve regional sales strategies and increase executional efficacy.
  • Share Allspring's capabilities and investment views with Financial Advisors and COIs, emphasizing opportunities and suggesting solutions to improve client portfolios.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • The ability to understand and distill complex investment strategy and research concepts.
  • Possess a very strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies, capabilities, and portfolio construction views.
  • Understanding of tax-advantaged investing strategies and demonstrable success in growing adoption of tax-managed solutions.
  • Strong understanding and experience working in the wealth management / retail brokerage market segment.
  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business development/sales, financial services consulting or investment research.
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of brokerage or wealth management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of investment products, asset allocation, operations, and the servicing requirements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of investment analysis.
  • Skilled in assessing investment information to build financial plans and determine appropriate business and client resolution.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA or equivalent experience), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation is preferred.


Base Pay Range: $170,000 - $200,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
