Lead Therapist Opportunity

Granite Hills Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Lead Therapist will provide direct care to patients with psychiatric conditions in an acute setting. The Lead Therapist will be responsible for collaborating with the patient, family/support, multidisciplinary team, outside providers, and community agencies to support and coordinate treatment and discharge planning.Lead Therapist will also be responsible for continuing own personal development to enhance practice.. Provides supervision to clinical students. Supervise the daily operations of the adult clinical services. Performs ADCS function, when needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Complete Psychosocial Assessments, treatment Plan reviews, individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy sessions within established timeframes either face to face or telephonically-with all patients, family and significant others.
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team including physicians, RNs, Care Managers and other healthcare team members in crisis intervention; creating behavioral plans, case conferences, client centered interventions and discharge planning.
  • Conducts assigned therapeutic groups. Provides comprehensive education, instructions, advocacy information designed to assist the patient and significant others to identify and secure needed health care follow-up services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION
Required: Master's Degree in Human Services related field. Preferred: Master's in Social Work.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Required: LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMSW in Wisconsin CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.

EXPERIENCE
Required: Two years of clinical experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting to include lead experience preferred. Preferred: Experience in staff and student supervision.
