Overview:
The Enterprise Applications Engineer is responsible for the implementation and management of enterprise applications used by the firm such as Financial, HR and Marketing systems. This position is key to ensuring the firm's applications are secure, reliable, and aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.

This is a full-time technical role that works closely both inside the firm and with vendors to deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and support legal operations. The role will maintain accurate technical documentation, manage application integrations, and lead lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
* Administer, maintain, configure, support, and manage key legal applications.
* Support regular maintenance, patch management, and version upgrades in accordance with change management and testing procedures.
* Design and implement integrations using APIs, middleware, or custom scripts to connect disparate systems.
* Identify the business need for enhancements to legal applications, upgrade paths and timelines, or the need for new or improved application(s). Participate in the cost-benefit analysis for new applications or significant enhancements
* Lead the technical evaluation of new software, including proof of concepts, vendor coordination, and pilot deployments.
* Liaise with business users and other stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document requirements and recommendations for enhancements and new software implementations.
* Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure applications meet security, availability, and data protection requirements.
* Provide support and troubleshooting, including collaboration with users, vendors, and other IT teams.
* Maintain documentation for business processes and use cases, installation, system configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, support, and licensing.
* Ensure business continuity by participating in disaster recovery planning and application testing.
* Collaborate with users, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective delivery of training
* Conduct periodic software inventory and license reconciliation

Our Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or five+ years of equivalent experience is required, ideally with enterprise application support or engineering in a legal or professional services environment.
* 3+ years' experience maintaining and supporting applications (client/server or SaaS), this includes the ability to troubleshoot the full spectrum of user issues.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
* Familiarity with legal-specific applications.
* Strong experience with application integration and scripting (e.g. PowerShell, REST APIs).
* Understanding of data privacy and client confidentiality in a legal setting.
* Ability to translate user needs into secure, scalable, technical solutions.
* Proven ability to document business processes and the corresponding application functionality.
* Strong customer service skills
* Will have experience with Intapp, 3E, Workday, Aderant (viGlobal), Windows Server 2019/2022, IIS administration, Boomi Integrations, PowerShell, SSRS and the ability to write SQL statements with some complexity.

The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $90,000 - $115,000/year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
